Laser Vision Correction
“I have worn glasses or contact lenses since I was in 4th grade, and finally decided to get LASIK. I visited Dr. Manus Kraff at the Harlem/Belmont location for a free consultation. I was quickly scheduled and the first appointment determined that I was a better candidate for PRK instead of LASIK.
I had not done much research on the PRK procedure as I had been expecting LASIK, but Dr. Kraff explained the entire procedure in detail to me, including why it would be a better fit for me individually. He addressed all of my concerns and questions and made me comfortable with this life changing decision. Throughout all the testing, pre-op visits, the surgery itself, and follow-up appointments, I felt valued as a patient (and as a person) and welcomed in the office, which is not an experience I have had with many other doctors’ offices. The entire staff was helpful, friendly, and didn’t balk at all at my (probably hundreds of) questions.
I am less than a week out from my PRK procedure and I already have near perfect 20/20 vision in both eyes with no glasses or contacts. I had no ill side effects or symptoms, and I truly believe this is mostly due to the skill and care that Dr. Kraff and his staff took with me and my eyes throughout the journey.
I was referred to Dr. Kraff from several very pleased prior patients, and I will be referring him to everyone I know who is thinking about getting either of these procedures. Getting PRK surgery with Dr. Kraff was the best decision I have ever made, and I am so thankful for the ease of the entire experience.”

Anna was born with a condition making her unable to use contact lenses as she developed high nearsightedness. Anna belongs to an organization called Dar Serca; Polish for “a gift from the heart”. Her condition was brought to our attention to Dr. Manus Kraff, offering her a no-cost solution.
